I feel like I have lived many different lives. These are the highlights:
- Made popcorn at theatre (Smelled like palm oil)
- Cashier before the registers figured out sales tax and change (I actually had to think)
- Degree in Anthropology, minor in Geography (doesn't mean I know how to fold a road map)
- Jeweler (Never was paid enough to buy the things I sold/graded/appraised)
- Attorney (passed the Bar Exam and everything!)
- Legislative Aide at the State House (It IS true - you never want to see how laws or sausages are made)
- Public Health official (as a job and as an elected official)
- Smoking Cessation Facilitator
- I have written laws and enforced them (Every lawmaker should know what it's like to enforce -- laws would be much better written)
- Septic System Inspector (Knock on wood that I never have to make a living doing that)
- Winery/Vineyard Owner (No, I don't stomp wine with my feet)
- High Tech business owner. I do a lot of contract negotiations and ensuring compliance with laws (This is the one that currently pays the bills)
- And, oh yea, wife and mother
